Are any of the Remarkable Herbs products enhanced or have any additives?

Remarkable Herbs does not “enhance” or add anything to its kratom products, or any other products. Unfortunately, this is not true for many in the Kratom industry. Remarkable Herbs has been a leader in the field, offering Kratom since before most anyone else in the U.S. even knew what Kratom was. We are passionate about only providing pure, high-quality kratom to the extent that we take personal offense to the fact that so many companies today adulterate their kratom.

Why does Remarkable Herbs not offer more strains?

Remarkable Herbs offers strains based on quality and consistency. When running Kratom alkaloid profiles, there’s evidence that the alkaloid profiles don’t vary much from one strain to another. Over 80% of the alkaloid profiles are repetitive between all strains and veins. Therefore, the most significant difference when testing kratom is not the alkaloid profile but the alkaloid content.

Why is Remarkable Herbs Kratom Sterilized?

Remarkable Herbs tests every batch for salmonella, especially since there are certain times of the year that salmonella is more prevalent. Remarkable Herbs has never experienced a problem with salmonella poisoning before the sterilization process was put in place due to its batch blending process. Batch blending dilutes and reduces any salmonella content to a safer level. Recently, the FDA has found that some of the Kratom testing at other companies was ineffective since products were still testing positive for salmonella. This led the FDA to require companies to recall products with even trace levels of salmonella. Due to the FDA’s stance on salmonella, all Remarkable Herbs Kratom products are thoroughly sterilized.

What is batch blending?

Batch blending is the method Remarkable Herbs uses to maintain a specific alkaloid content from batch to batch. By testing each batch’s alkaloid profile and content, Remarkable Herbs uses these results to mix and average out alkaloid profiles. More importantly, this process places the alkaloid content at a predetermined, desirable alkaloid content. This keeps the products consistent over time.

Is your Kava micronized?

No, our Kava powder is not micronized. Micronized powder is below 10 microns in particle size, where our kava powders are between 50-200 microns. This is more in line with the traditional methods of consuming kava root. Micronized kava powder is generally mixed into water, with all of the powder dissolved in the water solution. In our opinion, this is not the ideal way to use kava. We have thoroughly studied the uses of kava, their impact on efficacy, and how we could position our products in that paradigm. The traditional use of kava involves taking about 2-3 heaping tablespoons and using a teabag of sorts to produce a hot or cold steeped tea, which is the most ideal method. With micronized kava, the intent is to consume the entire root. It is not necessary to ingest the entire root, including its cellulosic components and other parts. In this case, technology has not triumphed over tradition. The traditional methods effectively remove the undesirable components while retaining the valuable parts. For these reasons and based on our exhaustive research, we have designed our products to be used in the traditional method of making kava tea.
